Kenna is a native of Painesville, Ohio and began piano lessons at the age of 5. She holds a BS in mathematics with a minor in music from Allegheny College and an MA in counseling from Ball State University. Her working career involved 10 years teaching mathematics in grades 7-12 and 20 years as a middle school counselor. Kenna sang in choral groups in high school and college and studied voice and organ in college. Before joining I Cantori in 2008, she sang in various barbershop groups. Kenna also plays with Music Makers, a piano duet group. Now retired, she enjoys tennis, travel, volunteering and visiting 6 grandchildren.
